Shivambu & spiritual awakening
Watch on YouTubeThe spiritual dimension of urine therapy and its effect on consciousness.
What this video covers
Troy Casey, the Certified Health Nut, shows his own practice of Shivambu, which he says he has done for most of the last 20 years. He stresses he is sharing what he does, not telling anyone else to do it, and makes no claims. He opens a jar of urine aged about six months, brown and strong-smelling of ammonia, and takes a sip, saying he has read it is good for parasites and the gut microbiome. Mostly he uses it on his skin: he rubs it into his legs, the creases of his elbows, behind his knees, his ankles, shoulders and face, then rides his bike or lies in the sun, even at 110 degrees. He says in the sun it mixes with his pheromones and smells like musky perfume, gives him color, boosts his testosterone, pumps up his muscles and gives him clarity and energy, sometimes followed by an ice bath. At almost 60, he says he wears no sunscreen and his skin is not dry. He says he knows people who washed their hair with it and stopped premature balding, and that it helps tight muscles and pain. Every morning, he says, he pees in a Mason jar and drinks it, and uses it in a neti pot. He shows how to age it in a 64-ounce wide-mouth jar, open under a cloth or sealed.
